East Buena Vista houses numerous early 20th century homes, and these include houses in the Mission, Craftsman, Mediterranean, and Art Deco styles.

Homes that are found in this neighborhood are mostly single-family homes and are usually renovated and refurbished houses that still carry the memories of years gone by.

There are a few however that are modern and have been built pretty recently. Still, a few more have been remodeled into apartment buildings or multi-family abodes, while still preserving their old-fashioned look and appeal.
