Brownsville is a census-designated place in Miami, and is sometimes referred to as Brown Sub, probably due to the fact that it is a suburban neighborhood. This enclave is located near the Miami International Airport, and is actually just a block northeast of it.
This residential community is currently well known for its diversity and for being a neighborhood that has the most residents in it with Haitian and Cuban ancestry.
This enclave is also just beside Little Haiti and is said to have stopped growing a few decades ago. The neighborhood has indeed seen an outflow of people for 4 decades and is set to get a revival with the current population influx showing such a promise.
This means that the neighborhood is ripe for a renaissance and is going to be one of the up-and-coming enclaves in Miami in the coming years.
