Las Olas Isles is a community that consists of fingerlike islands located east of Downtown Fort Lauderdale and south of East Las Olas Boulevard.
This neighborhood is another of the more opulent and expensive ones in Fort Lauderdale and this is because of a number of reasons. For starters, all of the homes here have access to the water, which is what makes these homes rather expensive. Another reason is that these are located in an area between two of the most popular locales in the city, namely Las Olas Boulevard and Barrier Island.
The residents of this enclave are happy to live here because of these factors, with both the ocean and the hyperactive city center mere minutes away from this locality. Convenience is not the only reason however why people love living here, and some of the other reasons cited include the low crime rate, the privacy, the walkability of the area, and of course, the easy access to the intracoastal and the ocean. It is also a very lovely neighborhood to live in, what with residences here being described as stately and mansion-like.
Being a waterfront neighborhood, majority if not all of the homes here have their own boat docks, and as such, have their own boats as well. This is considered one of the most popular neighborhoods for boating aficionados to live in and you will definitely find a lot of those here.
