A suburban neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale, the enclave of Edgewood is one that is located directly north of the international airport in the area, with the Port Everglades Expressway separating it from the airport. This neighborhood consists mostly of single family homes, with most of these being found in the central and western side of the neighborhood. There are a few multi-unit residential buildings in the area though, but majority of the property in the neighborhood are occupied by businesses.
