Flagami Information

It is bisected by West Flagler Street from east to west and has the Dolphin Expressway running through its northeastern locales.

Residents in this neighborhood work in a variety of fields, with 30% working in the sales and services industry. An equal number works in executive positions, management jobs, and in a professional capacity, while 15% are in clerical, tech support, and assistant jobs. 25% of the working population is in the manufacturing industry.

Most of the residents here are in the lower to middle-income bracket, and only a small percentage of the people living here have a college degree or higher.

Flagami has two sub-districts, the subdivision of Alameda, and the sub-neighborhood of Fairlawn.

Entertainment options in Flagami include a few shopping centers, dance studios, art galleries, and performing arts venues. People here are also into astrology, spiritually, and new age interests. Aside from these, people in this neighborhood also enjoy good food, and as such, have a list of favorite restaurants and eateries that they visit frequently.

Flagami Real Estate

While Flagami is a fairly sizable community, the majority of the homes here are single-unit houses, with a number of condos, apartment buildings, and other multi-unit residences added to the mix. 

This may also be why only half of the population in the area own their residences, with the other half opting to rent homes here. Most of the residences here are single unit family homes, however the northern part of the neighborhood has a lot of apartment buildings, condos, and multi-unit residences. The median age of residents in Flagami is 44, and only 33% of the population is single.

Residences here were mostly built during the baby boom years, with a few more being built in the decades after. A few new homes, mostly apartment buildings, condos, and modern homes in planned communities, were built fairly recently.
