Bounded by the Old Cutler Road to the east, Snapper has the equally successful and private neighborhoods of Hammocks to the north, Hammock Oaks to the east and Gables by the Sea to the north.

Residents benefit from the free trolley system provided by the Coral Gables neighborhood. The trolley passes through Ponce de Leon Boulevard on a daily basis.

When visiting Downtown and nearby cities, Miami Metrorail at Douglas and University Roads is another option for public transportation.
