Golden Beach Miami is an idyllic, exclusive community of single family homes located near the northeast side of the Miami-Dade County. Its neighborhood is devoid of any crime and only has a total population of 919, making it an ideal enclave for starting a family.

The Neighborhood

This Miami-Dade northernmost beachfront neighborhood has Broward County to the north, Sunny Isles Beach to the south, Aventura to the west and Atlantic Ocean to the east. It is between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.

The small community founded in 1929 covers 1.8 miles, with a one mile north to south span and about four-block distance from north to south. It has the neighborhoods of Aventura and Sunny Isles Beach several minutes away.

The main road access to Golden Beach is via Collins Avenue or State Road A1A and Beachfront Avenue.

The town of Golden Beach has a zero crime rate but they are notorious for having speed traps in Miami. Golden Beach also has a strong police force that some say is too big for the small neighborhood.

While it is a tiny, gated community, Golden Beach houses some of the most expensive houses in the market.

Some of the homes for sale in this neighborhood breach the million dollar mark. Some of the known personalities who maintain homes in Golden Beach include Ricky Martin and Bill Gates.

Golden Beach has 364 households, with almost 20 percent of them vacant. The homes for sale in the neighborhood are exclusively single family homes, as the town strictly prohibits construction of any high rise buildings within its premises.

Golden Beach is conveniently nestled near cultural centers, fine dining restaurants, professional-grade sports centers, and upscale shopping destination such as the Bal Harbour Shops.

The cozy community has the historic Pavilion beach and 9 parks that give its residents a sense of community. Residents have 24/7 access to full court basketball courts and volleyball courts. The neighborhood also has two regulation-sized tennis courts.

Terracina Park is the pride of Golden Beach as it has an overlooking view of the Intracoastal waterways. Families can spend quality time in the neighborhood’s Tweddle Park that boasts of tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, greens spaces and covered picnic area. The park is also ideal for walking the dogs in its dog park area.
